Describe yourself, briefly: I have worked for many years to promote equality of representation for women, both in and out of elected office, and whether it's fashionable as an issue or not. I now run the Centre for Women & Democracy in Leeds.
What do you do, mostly?: Research, campaigns, seminars and networking. And trying to keep the paperwork up to date!
What matters most in the world?: What a complicated question! In big terms, life, liberty and the right of women and girls across the world to control their own lives.
