Describe yourself, briefly: I have a passion for community engagement, social justice and regeneration. This is complimented with almost 10 years' experience in working with people and local communities via the public and voluntary sectors in both paid and unpaid work. I have recently returned to academic study focusing on the social sciences. I have developed the underpinning theory base, alongside practical experience to enable me to contribute more fully to the empowerment, protection and improvement of local communities.

What do you do, mostly?: I am community worker for the local authority and also a magistrate at Birmingham Law Courts.

Outside of my duties I give talks on various topics that have effected my life and also about my decision to become a magistrate.

What matters most in the world?: The safe gaurding and personal development of young people and children as they are the future. This includes making sure they are equipt with a global understanding/education of the things that are important to the running of an effective household, cohesive community, city, country and world.

Do you have children?: Yes I have one child and my ambiton is to show him you can achieve anything you put your mind to by using my life as an example.

What would you like from this site?: I would like to build networks, broaden my knowledge and seek opportunity through the site. I am very keen to become more involved in public life and politics.
